The bed set sits on an ottoman side lift divan base made from FSC certified MDF wood. The base has an 18mm thick frame with an 8mm MFC veneered board, strong and sustainable. This base has four times more storage than a traditional divan bed base, 22cm deep and can store bedding, clothes or other essentials. For added convenience the base has smooth 600n gas lift pistons for 3ft, 4ft, 4ft6, 5ft, 6ft and 400n pistons for 2ft6, so easy access to the storage area underneath.
