The base is 18mm thick with an 8mm MFC veneered board, for durability and strength. This clever design has 4 times more storage than a traditional divan bed base, with a 22cm internal depth for storing bedding, seasonal items and more.

600N gas lift pistons for 3ft, 4ft, 4ft6, 5ft, 6ft and 400N pistons for 2ft6. The lift mechanism is smooth and easy to use, giving access to the storage space underneath.
