The mattress is supported by an ottoman end lift divan base made from FSC certified MDF wood. The base is 18mm thick and 8mm MFC veneered board lined. Strong and sustainable with a modern look. The base has four times the storage of a traditional divan bed with an internal depth of 22cm to store bedding, seasonal items or personal treasures.

The Essential Guest bed set has smooth operating gas lift pistons. 600 newton pistons are used for 3ft, 4ft, 4ft6, 5ft and 6ft sizes and 400 newton pistons for 2ft6 size.
